Last year’s Super Bowl was watched by an estimated 127 million viewers, making it the most popular game to date. This year’s edition, Super Bowl LX, took place on February 8, 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, featuring the Seattle Seahawks defeating the New England Patriots 29–13.

That’s the most ever viewers for a Super Bowl and any single-network telecast in American history. The Super Bowl LX half-time show was headlined by multi-Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny alongside Lady Gaga, while Green Day and Charlie Puth also performed ahead of kick-off.

Super Bowl replays and highlights in the US

Naturally, with such colossal viewing figures, TV companies vie for the opportunity to air it on their networks. To keep things fair, NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox alternate Super Bowl broadcasts year on year in the US.

This year it was available on NBC Sports and the Peacock streaming service. You can view extended highlights and analysis clips online, but a full replay will require a Peacock subscription.

Another option is the NFL Plus streaming service, which allows subscribers to stream nationally televised games. The downside is that you can only do so on a mobile device. You can also check out the official NFL YouTube channel as well as the NFL app. Short highlights and key plays are free, but full ‘Game in 40’ and extended highlights require NFL+ Premium.

Watching the Super Bowl in the UK couldn’t be much easier – it aired on Channel 5 for free and you can get a full replay on My5. You can also catch highlights on the official NFL YouTube channel.

If you really want to see the authentic experience complete with US film trailers and commercials, the original American broadcast (including commercials) is available through the NFL Game Pass via DAZN. There are three options for the big game in the UK. A Super Bowl pass offers 31 day access to NFL Game Pass with Super Bowl live and on-demand viewing for just 99p. A Super Bowl pass does not allow for mobile viewing, though. A mobile only account is £13.99 annually, while a Pro account is £14.99.

Remember for future events that you can use the likes of ExpressVPN (3000+ servers in 3,000 servers in 94 nations) and NordVPN (5400 servers across 60+ countries) which offer deals perfectly tailored for Super Bowl viewing. Many even come with a few months free. Check out our guide to borderless viewing here.
