Apple has introduced new perks for paid iCloud+ subscribers, with users in a host of countries now receiving access to Apple TV streaming service, Apple Arcade, and even limited access to Apple Music in some parts of the world.

As you’d expect this doesn’t apply to countries like the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia and across major European markets. The initiative appears to be geared towards nations where the Apple One bundles could be deemed less affordable among the wider population.

Indeed, Apple isn’t offering Apple One in the covered countries, which span countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean. If you’re paying as little a $1 (the US price) for 50GB iCloud+ membership you’ll get Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no extra cost. And is available via Family Sharing too, meaning up to five people get access. Can’t say fairer than that because it’d cost you $28 for this bundle in the United States.

Furthermore, in some of those countries, Apple is offering Apple Music Select, which includes ad-free curated music stations. Apple wants to entice those users into a full Apple Music subscription by giving them a taste. And, the expansion and inclusion of Apple TV should help Apple get those viewing figures up for hit shows like Slow Horses.

“We’re excited to bring Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users in over 100 countries in one convenient subscription,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services and Health in a press release. “iCloud+ users can now securely store and share personal content across their devices, enjoy the absolute best in original storytelling from Apple TV, and explore an incredible lineup of hundreds of games through Apple Arcade.”
