OLED tech has all but conquered the TV world by this point, and has been making inroads into PC monitors for a few years now – but perfect blacks and instant response times don’t come cheap. Or rather, they didn’t: Acer’s new Predator X27U X1 is the first sensibly-priced OLED gaming monitor I’d actually consider buying, thanks in part to the realistic resolution. Not everyone has thousands to spend on an RTX 5090 graphics card, or wants to rely on upscaling tech just to get playable frame rates at their monitor’s native resolution. That makes the Predator X27U X1’s 2560×1440…

You probably shouldn’t expect major changes to Google’s next Pixel foldable. Renders shared with Android Headlines by reliable leaker Onleaks show a Pixel 10 Pro Fold that looks very similar to its predecessor, potentially indicating that it could largely be just a spec bump.As shown in the renders, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold appears to feature the same stacked rear camera setup as the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, along with a hole-punch camera on the external display and one on the top-right corner of the inner screen. The Hyundai Insteroid is a brilliantly over-the-top reimagining of the Inster, Hyundai’s rather more modest production EV. Unveiled at a Night Garage Party in Seoul, the beefy-looking design is a real head-turner – and every bit as mad in the metal as it looks in these pictures. Designed by Hyundai’s European creative team, the Insteroid features a raft of super cool design features. Most notable of these is the widened body, which sits on top of four enormous wheels and tyres that are ‘track-optimized’. The partially enclosed wheel arches topped with air vents allow for better cooling potential. At the…

Tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct promises a glimpse into the future, with details about the much-anticipated Switch 2. But the previous Nintendo Direct dug into the past, revealing a final flurry of major titles for the original Switch, along with Virtual Game Cards, an intriguing attempt to bridge old-school physical media and the convenient – but restrictive – world of digital downloads. I’m increasingly Team Physical Media, but there’s a tension on the Switch, where my purchases have been mixed. Physical media offers great simplicity, letting you swap games between consoles with a prod and a click. Digital can be cheaper but also messier. You…

Jaeger-LeCoultre has just dropped five new Reverso models at Watches and Wonders 2025, and honestly, I’m torn. Each one is a masterpiece, from understated elegance to full-blown horological wizardry. Its flipping case was a stroke of genius – both a practical shield and a canvas for artistic expression. Fast forward to today, and these new releases take that legacy even further. Whether you love a sleek, time-only dial or crave complications galore, there’s something here…

To mark its 160th anniversary, Zenith is revisiting its past and reviving one of the most celebrated movements in horological history at Watches and Wonders 2025.
