It’s not often that a popular gaming headset gets a full-blown generational makeover, but expectations are always high when they do. Steelseries has its work cut out for it with the Arctis Nova 7 Gen 2 series, seeing how the original quickly became a best-seller after launching in 2022. Three years on, the updated version promises 40% more battery life than before, along with smartphone app control, multi-format support and simultaneous audio – something that’s still a rarity on similarly-priced rivals. The Arctis Nova 7 Wireless Gen 2 is arriving with specific PlayStation, Xbox, and PC variants, but all three…

Instagram is making a major update to teen accounts that will only allow them to view content similar to what you would see in a PG-13 movie. Introduction Putting the 6.5in iPhone Air in my hand gave me the same feeling as when I first picked up the $1099/£1099 (and up) Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: How can a high-end smartphone possibly take up so little space?  With the S25 Edge, the compromise was the lack of a telephoto camera and short battery life… as well as the four-figure price. The $999/$999 iPhone Air compromises in one key camera area still further, as we’ll see shortly. But is it a workable option? What is important to note is that it’s an eSIM-only phone, which is the way everything…

You know the iPhone notch? It’s history! At least it is in new iPhones. The notch was last seen on the iPhone 14, 14 Plus and iPhone SE (2022) but has now been completely replaced. Instead of the notch, a pill-shaped cut-out now sits at the top of the display of Apple’s flagship phones. It’s called the Dynamic Island – and it’s unlike any pill-shaped cut-out you’ve seen before. What is the Dynamic Island? Look, it’s Apple. It chose to name a new interface feature in a manner that’s reminiscent of a yoga pose. But, to be fair to Apple, the Dynamic Island is dynamic.…

Introduction Not long ago I was parked at a charging station and the guy next to me was charging an original Nissan Leaf. He said its range was, well, largely hopeless.
