IFA is one of the world’s biggest annual consumer technology expos and it’s currently getting underway in Berlin, Germany. Indeed, as it welcomes in the public too, it’s by far the biggest such show in terms of attendance, with over 215,000 people set to roam around the show over the next few days.

As usual, it’s taking place at the massive Messe Berlin fairground which as usual will have 26 halls and 160,000 square metres full of new smart home tech, kitchen appliances, PC, hi-fi, headphones and home theater gear. The Stuff team is on the ground in Berlin, covering the cream of the announcements from many of the world’s biggest brands.

You can check out all our latest coverage below. Today is the main press day when most of the new products are announced, so there will be plenty of gear to admire. The show itself starts tomorrow (Friday 4 September) when thousands of consumers pile through the doors – yes, you can buy a ticket and go yourself.

The Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (hence, IFA) has been running since way back in 1924, making it one of the world’s oldest trade shows. You can check out a great brief history on Samsung’s newsroom website while there’s also some great pics on IFA’s own centenary page.

While the show originally started with the latest innovations in radio and then TV, it’s today used as a platform for launching some of the biggest consumer tech products. While the pace of TV launches has definitely slowed at the show, this has been replaced by a mass of home tech. Here’s our coverage so far of IFA 2026 so far:
