Are you a Mario fan that thinks Nintendo’s Switch gaming handhelds are just a little too dainty? I found the original Switch’s Joy-Cons so uncomfortable that I barely ever took it out of its dock, and while Ninty improved things for the successor console, it’s still not a perfectly natural fit in my hands. Belkin’s new Gaming Charging Grip ought to fix that – and provide enough extra charge for some serious gaming time away from the mains.
The wraparound case comes in three parts: one for the console itself and two for the Joy-Con 2 controllers. The latter add ergonomic bumps that give larger hands a lot more to grab onto, and you don’t have to remove ’em to detach the controllers from the screen. The main case has a cutout for the Switch’s built-in kickstand and you don’t have to peel off the protection to slot the console into its dock either.
If Belkin had stopped there it wouldn’t be worth shouting about, but the firm has used its battery know-how to slickly add a 10,000mAh battery backup into the mix. That’s enough to fully refuel the Switch 2 once and still have enough in reserve for another 50% top-up, assuming you’re not also playing at the same time.
The detachable block neatly clips onto the case, with a short right-angle connector so you don’t have to deal with trailing wires. It can recharge other kit compatible with USB-C Power Delivery at up to 30W, while a battery status indicator shows the remaining charge.
The Gaming Charging Grip is on sale from today, directly from Belkin and via Amazon, for $100.
Belkin has also debuted a dedicated travel crossbody bag for taking your handheld with you on the move. The Travel Bag for Nintendo Switch 2 is perfectly shaped to swallow a Switch 2 console, with a main compartment that’s soft-lined to keep the screen free from scratches. A velcro strap keeps the handheld secure, while keeping some free space for a Switch 2 Pro Controller, up to 10 game cards, and other accessories.
There’s a secret compartment for stashing a smart tracker, plus a quick access pocket for other everyday carry kit like your keys and wallet.

It’s also on sale right now, directly from Belkin and from Amazon, for $50. Both the Gaming Charging Grip for Nintendo Switch 2 and Gaming Travel Bag for Nintendo Switch 2 can be had in Black, Olive or Lilac colours.
The pair join the existing Charging Case Pro in Belkin’s growing lineup of gaming accessories.
