If you’ve got one of the best iPhones, there’s good news – Apple Wallet will soon become even more useful in iOS 27.

According to Bloomberg’s report, the next iOS update will introduce a new Create a Pass feature, letting you add your own tickets, cards, and memberships, even if they’re not officially supported.

If true, it’ll be a very welcome feature. Apple Wallet currently works brilliantly, as long as the company behind your ticket, loyalty card, or membership actually supports it. If not, you’re stuck digging through emails, screenshots, or third-party apps.

This new feature could change that. Reports from Bloomberg suggest that you’ll be able to tap the + button in Wallet and either scan a QR code from a ticket or generate a pass manually. That means things like concert tickets, memberships, and gift cards could all live in one place.

If there’s no QR code, you won’t be blocked either. The system is said to allow custom passes, complete with editable text, colours, and images – letting you recreate digital versions of supported tickets, memberships, and cards.

Apple is also said to be adding colour-coded pass types to keep things organised, with different colours for events, memberships, and other passes – making it easier to glance at your Wallet and find what you need.

There’s still no official confirmation from Apple, but with WWDC 2026 just around the corner, we likely won’t have to wait long to see how it works in practice.
