Sony has teamed up with Marvel for a doozy of a limited edition PlayStation 5 games console design to coincide with the forthcoming launch of the PS5-exclusive Wolverine game.
The new PS5 Digital Edition console variant comes in the Adamantium-addled anti-hero’s original Battle Yellow colour and includes the console, a matching DualSense controller, and a digital download code for the long-awaited Wolverine game.
It’ll be available to buy globally and if you don’t want to stump up for a new console, the DualSense controller is available to buy separately. And that console design which offers a tri-clawed scoring of the front panel to reveal some of the insides is also available as a PS5 console cover in yellow and Adamantium colours for both Digital and Disc edition machines.

The bundle costs $649.99 / £569.99 / €649.99, while the covers cost $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99 and everything is available to pre-order on August 19 at 10am local time.
“I wanted to show Wolverine at his fiercest for Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Console bundle and accessories,” said the graphic artist behind the design known as Jock in a post on the PlayStation blog.
The artist who put crafted much of the artwork for the game itself, added: “I still draw all my artwork traditionally, so the opportunity to marry cutting-edge hardware with the energy and looseness of hand-drawn ink is incredibly exciting. I’m stunned by how well the console and accessories captured the raw energy of the drawing, bringing Wolverine to life in a completely unique way.”
The game itself comes from Insomniac Games – the same first-party studio behind the Marvel’s Spider-Man games – and will be available on September 15, so we can assume the consoles will be delivered to play on day one.
