As well as a 1.78in display on their case, Soundcore’s latest earbuds have an AI-powered notetaker on board, meaning they can double up to transcribe meetings or events and generate summaries and action points from them. Google is many things, but most of the time it’s a verb: It is what it is to search the internet for information. But what if it’s an AI agent doing the searching? And it’s doing it proactively? Microsoft is rolling out Office app updates next week that allow users to disable a floating Copilot button. The button appeared in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in recent weeks, and floats above the bottom right-hand section of spreadsheets or documents. It has angered many Excel users in particular, because it obstructs cells and you can’t fully disable it.“While we are seeing increased engagement with Copilot in Office apps with this update, we are also hearing the need for more control over how Copilot appears,” admits Katie Kivett, partner group product manager at Microsoft. “While one of our goals is to…

I’ve loved the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 since it launched in 2020. I bought one for my wife after reading about how awesome it was on a little site called The Verge dot com.Since then, the G14 has gotten some facelifts, chip bumps, an occasional special edition, a full redesign, and a 16-inch sibling — and it’s remained great. Now, in 2026, Asus has new flagship models making the switch from AMD chips to Intel Panther Lake CPUs. And it now has something I have a soft spot for on any laptop: a full-size SD card slot. The Zephyrus G14 already…

For decades, we’ve been inundated with futuristic smartphone concepts that do away with bezels altogether. And while some phones have come close with niche attempts over the years, a new leak suggests Apple could finally be moving in that direction with its 2027 iPhone plans. According to a new leak from reliable Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station (via MacRumors), Apple is currently testing an iPhone 19 Pro prototype with a quad-curved display – where the screen curves around all four edges of the phone rather than just the left and right sides. The claim also suggests that Apple is experimenting…

Soundcore, Anker’s audio brand, has mostly lived in the budget-to-midrange world, but with its new Liberty 5 Pro earbuds, it’s aiming at the big guys. The two new earbuds — the Liberty 5 Pro and Liberty 5 Pro Max — use Anker’s new Thus chip, which has more processing power than previous Soundcore earbuds to try and compete with the chips found in Apple, Sony, and Bose products.
