Nothing is shaking up the branding of its cheapest phones, following up last year’s Phone 3A Lite with a new Phone 4B. Combining design elements of the 4A and 4A Pro, it follows Nothing’s previous cheaper handsets in skipping the US market. The company already uses the “A” branding to market its cheaper tier of products, and the first “B” phone sits another level below that. The 4B seemingly replaces the naming convention used for last year’s Phone 3A Lite.Design-wise, it borrows a little from the two 4A phones, which launched in March this year. The unibody look is similar to…

As we move into July 2026 and another UK heatwave, we’re faced with two clear choices: go out and attempt to enjoy the sunshine, or bunker down, draw the curtains, crank up the AC (if you’re lucky and/or rich enough to have it), turn on the TV and watch something amazing on your favourite streaming service. Look, we don’t make the rules. That’s just how it is. Luckily, for those of us that eschew flip-flops and bucket hats and pick the second option, there are lots of things vying to be the best new TV shows and films coming to…

Mercedes-Benz has spoiled me with some fantastic electric cars lately. First I had the glorious CLA shooting brake on test; then came this, the GLB 250+ Electric AMG Line Premium Plus. For anyone needing a loftier, SUV-flavoured set of wheels, I could instantly see how it would fit the bill – especially with all the AMG accoutrements. Delicious diamond cut alloy wheels, smart LED ambient lighting and a bone-shaking Burmester audio system go a long way. As a full-on seven seater, the GLB is ideally suited to big families. All three rows have oodles of space. Its load-carrying credentials are…

Apple’s foldable iPhone Ultra/Fold is expected to be hard to come by upon launch with one analyst suggesting shocks will be so short that Apple may delay the release to beef up itinerary. The word from the noted Apple watcher, the investment analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is that Apple will have under a million units available by the time a potential September launch rolls around. That’s only about a tenth of the yield Apple expects to have available by the end of the year. Kuo reckons Apple will have 7-8 million units available before 2026 is over. A report last week…

Team,We are beginning the most significant restructure in XBOX history. After careful consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to reduce our team by approximately 3,200 throughout FY27. This will include approximately 1,600 role eliminations today, and in addition, four studios will leave XBOX to new management. I recognize that a year-long restructuring creates additional challenges. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make all the necessary changes in a single day, and I wanted to be direct about the scale.I know this is painful. These changes will directly affect people who have poured their creativity into building XBOX. Many joined us…

I’m just doing my job, but turns out, it feels lousy holding other people’s privacy in your hands. I’ve long argued that Hollywood has simultaneously set and ruined our expectations for smart glasses. But after binge-watching two seasons of Netflix’s A Man on the Inside, this is perhaps the first time I’ve seen Hollywood, perhaps inadvertently, illustrate the biggest cultural problem with smart glasses as they stand today. In a nutshell, Ted Danson plays Charles Nieuwendyk, an elderly widower who finds a new purpose working for a private investigator. Armed with a pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses, a voice recorder,…
