The biggest game in global football is almost here: Spain versus Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. Whether you’re hosting a viewing party, hunting for the best streaming service showing the match or – let’s be honest – desperately skimming this article 10 minutes before kick-off as you look for a way to watch it, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s everything you need to know about watching the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, wherever you happen to be.

How can I watch?

How to watch the World Cup final in the USA

America-based fans have two solid broadcast options for the final, depending on which language they want your commentary in.

Fox holds the English-language rights and is showing the final live on the Fox broadcast network. Kick-off is at 3pm Eastern / 12pm Pacific. No cable? No problem. You can stream Fox’s coverage via the Fox Sports app or FoxSports.com with a TV provider login, or through a live TV streaming service. Fubo, Sling TV, YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream all carry Fox.

Prefer your commentary in Spanish? Then flip to Telemundo, which comes with a bonus: unlike Fox, it doesn’t cut to ads during the much-maligned hydration breaks. So, if 90-plus minutes of uninterrupted football is your priority, it might be the smart choice. Telemundo can be streamed on Peacock, and it’s also available on Fubo and YouTube TV.

How to watch the World Cup final in the UK

UK viewers are somewhat spoiled for choice: both the BBC and ITV have rights to the final, so you can take your pick. Kick-off is at 8pm BST.

BBC One carries the BBC’s live coverage, with a free live stream on BBC iPlayer. ITV1 carries the alternative broadcast, streaming free on ITVX. Scottish viewers will find ITV’s feed on STV, with streaming via the STV Player.

We suspect most viewers will gravitate toward the BBC – partly out of habit, partly due to the absence of ad breaks. That said, we think it’s worth a quick check of the commentary and analysis team lineups before you commit to a particular broadcaster, particularly if, like us, you find certain pundit “personalities” extremely irritating.

How to watch in other countries

Ireland

RTÉ is showing the final live on RTÉ One, with streaming available via the RTÉ Player.

Canada

Bell Media holds the Canadian rights. English-language viewers can watch on CTV or TSN, or stream via CTV.ca and TSN Direct. French-language coverage is on Noovo and RDS, with streaming on their respective apps and websites.

Australia

SBS has the rights Down Under, with free-to-air coverage and live streaming on SBS On Demand.

New Zealand

TVNZ is the broadcast destination for Kiwis, with live streaming available on TVNZ+.

South Africa

South African viewers can catch the final on SABC or SportyTV, both of which offer streaming through their own apps.
